Calgary's longest running scooter club! Riding as a group consistently since 2005. He still rides that same Vespa today. They did.

Murray bought his first Vespa brand new from a dealership on Macleod Trail in 1978. In the spring of 2005 Noel left a note at Vespa Calgary inquiring if anyone was interested in going to Garden City Scooter Rally in Victoria BC as a group. And after a summer of midnight rides they went to the VCOC scooter rally in Vancouver. Sean of Trail BC commented that a Scooter Club in Calgary was a sign of the Apocalypse. At that moment our club had a name. In 2009 we bought a club-owned trailer that can hold 8 scooters for transporting our scooters to rally's across western Canada and beyond. This is unique for any scooter club I've ever heard of. Members have come and gone, and things have changed. One thing that hasn't changed is that we meet at least once a week for some coffee and usually a ride. We hold an open ride starting from Vendome Cafe at 730pm, and a Sunday brunch meet-up for members. That's a lot of bonding throughout our 15 plus years which makes our core very tight. But don't worry we're always glad to meet new faces. ASC members have found love, found their keys, lost love, lost their mind and all the while have made good friends over the love of zippy little step-thru motor-scooters. The ASC's mandate has always been to foster a scootering community in Calgary. It doesn't matter why you like scooters, but that you do. We all have different reasons for having one, working on one, and hopefully riding one. It's not a serious business, but a fun activity.

For our Tuesday night ride on Sept 29th, we rode around the Tuxedo area and points north. We ended up at the and watched some wrestling! The staff at the Brickwell Taphouse were fantastic, we will be back there a lot in the future!

We just posted on our YouTube channel the Tuesday night group ride from Sept 22-2026. We rode from Inglewood to the infamous 61st Ave SE Timmies car hooligan spot (the parking lot is full of big concrete blocks now!). We got some spectacular sunset skies on the ride.

Every year, the ASC has a ride out of town to attend the Annual Vintage Motorcycle Swap Meet that is held at the Millarville Race Track by Millarville Alberta. This year the weather was spectacular, the riding was fun and easy plus the late summer video camera lens bugs were out in force, drawn to the tantalizing target of a clean lens! We managed to get some views of the sunset on our Tuesday public ride! It was a race against time. Got some good views from St Andrew's Heights, the Children's Hospital and finally a glow on the mountains at the top of Home Road. This time of year, sunset comes earlier by minutes every day 😢

Last night's relocation of our Tuesday night public ride was a great success with 23 bikes attending! Watch for us on 10th St. SE just south of 9th Av. SE in Inglewood. As usual, we assemble at 7ish and leave at 7:30 pm on Tuesday. Come before 7 and have a coffee or a gelato at Lina's before they close!
