Canadian Legacy Project This is a trying time for many of our Canadian Veterans as they try to integrate back to civilian life.

Canadian Legacy Project is a national, volunteer-run charitable organization that provides free programs to support Canadian Veterans transitioning back to civilian life. Canadian Legacy Project supports our Veterans in need across Canada in the areas of Employment, Mental Health, Food, Equine Therapy, Employment, Business Start Up, PTSD Programing and Education. In order to help with the transition Canadian Legacy Project has developed national programs designed to help those who have stood on guard for our great country. Canadian Legacy Project is one of the few registered charities which is run by volunteers allowing the dollars raised to go directly to Veterans in need. While operating a registered Canadian charity has some accounting and legal expense, we are very proud that 93% of the dollars that are raised go to our Veterans in need. HavenPoint Health is proud to announce our national partnership with the Canadian Legacy Project to launch Sister Strength: a dedicated, no-cost mental health program for Canadian women veterans.

This 24-week, therapist-led virtual group counselling program creates safe, trauma-informed spaces for healing, peer connection, and building lasting support networks.

Designed specifically to address unique challenges like PTSD, military sexual trauma, and transition barriers, it's grounded in 2024 Atlas Institute research and prioritizes privacy (no info shared with government agencies).
