Please join us in welcoming Farha Salim and Murray Suey to our Board of Directors.
Farha Salim is the Managing Partner at Field Law and has spent much of her career supporting the charitable and nonprofit sector through volunteer leadership and her legal practice. A Calgary Foundation volunteer since 2014, she currently serves on the Advisor Engagement Committee and previously served on the Grants Advisory Committee. In her legal practice, Farha advises charitable organizations and helps individuals and families develop planned giving strategies that create a lasting impact. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.), both with Distinction, from McGill University.
Murray Suey spent 40 years at KPMG Canada, most recently serving as Regional Managing Partner, Calgary. Prior to this role, he was Partner-in-Charge, Calgary Audit, where he advised global natural resources companies and nonprofit organizations. He was also a founding member of KPMG Canada's Inclusion and Diversity Council. Murray currently serves as a member of Calgary Foundation's Audit Committee and as a Director and Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee of IAMGOLD Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction from the University of Calgary and earned the Fellow designation (FCPA, FCA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
