Through our Food Rescue program, Helping Hands rescues more than 7,000kg of food every month, redirecting it to our Free Food Sheds and into the hands of neighbours who need it most.

By reducing food waste and increasing food access, this program helps strengthen both our community and our environment.

Most people who knew Grey know how he would love his coffee, and take people for one who he thought needed a friend. What many didn't know is he also liked his teas, whether traditional or herbal. He would visit his grandparents and family to share a cup on a visit, and encouraged friends to try new varieties with him. Today is International Tea Day, and it brings to mind all the time sharing a cup of tea meant time for friendship, family and time to decompress a bit. So take a little time for a cuppa today, and if you can share it with someone who needs a little boost, a friend etc. please do. if you were lucky enough to share one with him, please pass the opportunity along in your circle!
