From Messenger This is a sighting I saw a cockatiel hanging out on the street on Kincora Drive NW At 11:51 Then I saw it again near the same spot at like 12:45. Wasn’t able to catch it Kincora Drive near the 700 block of Kincora Bay NW

Fosters needed...

We are looking for foster homes for the 7 birds (now 6) that came in earlier this summer - their current foster family will be leaving out of country and we need to find new foster homes for them to hang out in until they find their "feathever" families.

They do not need to all go as a group :)

The bonded diamond doves are a cute and quiet little pair that share a cage and will stay together.

The blind cockatiel and lovebird do share a cage and are bonded to each other and should go together. They were briefly separated when Kyomi was on meds.

The other two teils are separated right now until we get a bigger cage for them - and will go together.

Happy Monday!

Its hard to believe we are in Oct already - still wondering where the summer went to! Halloween is right around the corner and Mantra is gearing up for it :)

I wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU to all the donors who have sefllessly given to our organization and the birds we care for.

OMG is everyone else dealing with major hormones this season? Nuri, the green cheek that came to us over 2 yrs ago has made huge strides in her aggression - or so I thought.
Yesterday she actually flew to purposely attack my daughter - just p**f - out of the blue - frustrating and dangerous - she packs one hell of a bite and went straight for her face - thankfully she is wellllll versed in bird and was able to keep herself safe until I grabbed her.

The cockatoos - omg - I can't even....vocalizing, chewing everything and anything and serenading me at 5 in the morning..
On that note - does anyone have a heavy duty sewing machine they want to get rid of - I need to make collars and regardless of the needle I use in mine - it just struggles to get through the layers of fleece (about 6).
Let me know if you have one and how your flock is doing with their hormones 🤔
