Thankyou to the follow businesses who supported the weekend.

Lunch was provided by 37ACU Corryong Detachment for all cadets and families. Maggie McArdle single handedly arranged the food. 2LT Cameron cooked up a storm. It is well worth mentioning that Maggie arranged a number of donations.
* Arnold’s Fruit Market in Wodonga donated all the vegies for the burgers.
* The Butcher at Arnold’s- provided steakettes at a generously reduced price.
* Corryong IGA - donated 2 watermelons, 5 lettuces, and a large jar of coffee.
* Corryong Family Bakery( Bryce Johnstone) Donated ANZAC Biscuits and the Bakery provided the bread rolls at a discount.

Thankyou for your kind support.

Corryong Avenue of Honour - reopening by 37ACU Corryong Attachment. An amazing honour given to the newly formed unit to take key responsibilities in reopening the new Avenue of Honour.
Originally established along Towong Road in Aug 1918 it served as a living memorial representing community solidarity and reflection.
CDTCUO Rowlinson and CDTSGT Cremona were given the privilege of conducting the official opening. Two of the large trees were damaged in the 2019/20 black summer fires, the wood from them was made into two beautiful carvings in commemoration.
Yesterday a descendant of the original opening cut the ribbon.
What a great honour for 37ACU and our newly formed Corryong detachment and its senior local cadets.
Well done cadets and staff.
Lest We Forget.

37ACU Corryong Detachment - from a school ceremony to cooking Anzac biscuits.
Corryong Cadets and staff attended the local school ceremony with CDTSGT Cremona reading the Ode and MC’ing. CDT Rivett delivering Welcome to Country and LT(AAC) Cameron delivering the main address. Well done team!
On Friday night 5 of the cadets attended the local Bakery (Supervised by baker Bryce Johnstone, at the Corryong Family Bakery) to make a massive batch of Anzac biscuits, donating them for the post Anzac March lunch. Amazing work!

2026 Anzac Commemoration Barnawartha vs Chiltern football/netball. Proud of this small group today representing our Unit at this event. AFL/Netball commemoration events like this play a key role in bridging community sport with remembrance by holding a small ceremony before the senior games.
Well done and thankyou for your attendance after a busy weekend.
