What a great weekend of training out in the bush with the cadets and supporting staff.
Training objectives met, a few hiccups along the way, lots of mozzies, a swim test, field engineering, a beep test, some first aid, a few tears and a crook belly. It was all happening.
Well done team. We got through it.
Recruits have been promoted, so well done.
Thankyou staff and Junior/Senior NCO’s for supporting this activity.

What a great trip to the ADFA Open Day, the War Memorial, the Last Post Ceremony and a finish at the new Canberra TreeTops ropes course. Great company with cadets and staff from 312 Pucka and 309 Bendigo.
Thankyou to all the supporting staff for making this trip a great activity for senior cadets.

Important Notice for all Cadets and Parents.

Force Element proudly supports 37ACU with reliable, practical gear to assist cadets with their activities. Where possible, Yol sources good quality gear at heavily reduced prices for 37ACU members only.

Yol and Force Element will be at Cadets this week with a display from 1800 to 2100hrs.
Yol will be able to take credit card.

You need to buy at a minimum your own sleeping bags, ground sheets, torches, knife (no longer than 5cm blade) pegs and toiletries. Older cadets can consider their own gas stoves for camps.
Lots of options to improve your comfort.
Or additional pouches to add to your provided packs.

Members of 37ACU recently pulled up their sleeves to support our local landcare efforts, volunteering their time to plant trees at Lake Hume.

The cadets and parents combined teamwork and environmental stewardship, working alongside Landcare volunteers to establish native trees that will help restore ecosystems and combat erosion.

“It’s great to see our cadets engaged in meaningful work beyond their regular training”, said Trg Officer LT(AAC) Scott Mann. “Landcare projects like this teach them about environmental responsibility and the importance of giving back”.

The tree planting morning demonstrated how youth organisations like ours can contribute to conservation efforts, with the cadets’ enthusiasm and energy proving invaluable to success.

We are thrilled to announce that two of our cadets have successfully completed the Chief of Army Cadet Team Challenge (CACTC) receiving a gold and silver commendation for them and their teams.

CACTC is one of the more demanding and prestigious competitions in the cadet program.
A tri-service with international invitees - a gruelling event that tests cadets to their absolute limits, pushing them physically, mentally and strategically.

Our two cadets demonstrated exceptional resilience, teamwork, mateship, and leadership throughout the competition.

A great achievement. Well done.

I’m honoured to share that 37ACU has received a commendation for outstanding results in this year’s push up challenge - an initiative dedicated to promoting mental health awareness across Australia.

This recognition isn’t just about fitness numbers; it’s about the collective commitment our team demonstrated for a cause that matters.

One of our cadets was personally recognised for her fundraising - well done. 👏

Thanks to everyone who supported this initiative.
Every push-up represented a push towards better mental wellbeing for all Australians.

Participants raised funds for local charities.

Cadets returns tonight at 37ACU.
Reminder for new cadets:- wait out the front to be approved access, no dogs allowed in cars, 40km speed limit applies, warm clothing, water bottle, notebook and pens. Timings: 1800-2100hrs.
