Private Lives 4 is Australia’s largest national survey of the health and wellbeing of le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, q***r, and asexual (LGBTIQA+) adults to date.

It is conducted by the Australian Research Centre in S*x, Health and Society (ARCSHS) at La Trobe University. The survey will provide vital information for health professionals, service providers, community organisations and governments to better understand and support the health and wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ people in Australia. 🌈🧠

Funded by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, Private Lives 4 - alongside our youth survey, Writing Themselves In 5: In Our Words - will contribute critical data to support the implementation of the National Action Plan for the Health and Wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ People 2025–2035

Day 1 of the Push-Up Challenge is complete - now we're onto day 2! 💪

72 Pushups today, representing the 72% of men who don't seek support when facing mental health challenges.

The Push-Up Challenge - Australia is all about increasing awareness of mental health and wellbeing services in local communities, and reducing the stigma associated with seeking support. 🧡

There are a number of schools, organisations, and community members participating in the challenge this year, so stay tuned on our socials for updates! Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. ✨
