are a not for profit community theatre company based in Wodonga, formed by David Todd and Liz Kolisnyk in 2005. Shows include, Dimboola, Back to the 70’s, Godspell, Nunsense , a children’s musical “Pinkalicious”, Jesus Christ Superstar, LittleShop of Horrors and most recently Spamalot. This festive season, Livid will present “Have Yourself a Very Livid Christmas” Cabaret night at the Jazz Basement, Gateway Island. Stay tuned for shows coming in the future.

It’s official! Auditions are now open for Livid Productions’ 20th Anniversary production of GREASE!

We are looking for a dynamic cast of strong singers, actors and dancers ready to bring the energy, humour and spirit of Rydell High to life!

Whether you’re a T-Bird, a Pink Lady, born to lead the school dance or ready to be part of the incredible world of Rydell High, we want to see you!

How do you choose just one moment from a show that had WAY too many hilarious and amazing moments to share?! 😂

For our final look back at Spamalot 2011, we decided to share part of our finale – because what better way to remember this show than with our wonderful cast all together on stage, doing what they did best… having an absolute ball! 🎭🎶

This production was full of ridiculous comedy, brilliant characters, fantastic music and a cast who threw themselves wholeheartedly into every crazy Monty Python moment. The fun they had together was infectious, and it’s one of the many reasons Spamalot remains one of our absolute favourites. ❤️

We loved it so much, we even brought Spamalot back for another Livid production in 2020!

🌟 This one is definitely up there as one of our all-time favourite shows! Spamalot brought together everything we love about theatre, a fantastic cast, ridiculous comedy, great music and a whole lot of fun.

This iconic Monty Python musical filled the theatre with laughter, and the cast had just as much fun putting it together as our audiences did watching it! In fact, we loved this show so much that we brought it back for a second Livid production in 2020. 😂

One of Director David Todd’s favourite memories was the massive Trojan Rabbit created for the show. King Arthur and his knights come up with the brilliant plan of using it to sneak into the French-held castle… but of course forget to get in it!! 🤦‍♂️🐰 Oh and he also loved and had fun making the la vache... 🐮🏰

🎭💭 MONDAY MEMORIES - GREASE 2013! 💭🎭

Here’s a flashback to the opening number from our 2013 production of GREASE! ⚡🎶

We put a fun spin on the iconic We Go Together, bringing so many wonderful voices together to kick off the show with a bang!

And that’s one of the things we love most about GREASE, this show is absolutely FULL of iconic songs that everyone knows and loves. From the very first note, it’s a soundtrack that brings back memories and makes you want to sing along! 🎤💗🖤

As we celebrate 20 years of Livid Productions, we can’t wait to bring the energy of Rydell High back to the stage in 2027!

Sometimes in live theatre, things don’t quite go according to plan… and sometimes the timing is so perfect, you’d swear they did! 😂🎭

This little gem comes from our 2010 production of Little Shop of Horrors. Someone backstage (you know who you are 😂) accidentally managed to deliver a VERY loud burp over the microphone – right in the middle of the show. 😳🎤

But the best part? The timing with what was happening on stage could not have been more perfect! 😂 We still have absolutely no idea how the actors on stage managed to hold it together and stay in character!

It’s moments like these that remind us why live theatre is so much fun. No two performances are ever exactly the same, and sometimes the unexpected moments become the ones you’re still laughing about 16 years later! A big thanls to Matt for capturing this 🙏

🌱 The next instalment in Livid’s journey took us to Skid Row with Little Shop of Horrors! This was such a fun show to put together, with a wonderful cast and plenty of opportunity for some creative ingenuity, particularly when it came to bringing Audrey II to life!

Looking back, Director David Todd’s favourite memories are the three different Audrey II plant creations used throughout the show, especially the impressive final ‘big Audrey II’, and the exceptional cast who brought this quirky musical to life. 🪴

David also gives a special mention to Ben Colley, who, as a young teenager, was a standout in the role of Seymour. Ben has since gone on to perform professionally, making it even more special to look back at where part of his theatrical journey began. 🌟

🎭 Monday Memories

It’s hard to believe it’s been over a decade since Livid Productions last brought Grease to the stage! 🩷🖤

This week, we’re flashing back to a promotional appearance by our 2013 Grease cast at The Bended Elbow. What a night! The crowd absolutely got into the performance, and the energy in the room was fantastic. 🎶⚡️

One of the things that made this production so special was just how close this cast became. They were a tight-knit group of friends who genuinely loved performing together, and you can certainly see that in this flashback! ❤️

We can’t wait to create even more memories when Grease returns in 2027 as part of our 20th Anniversary celebrations!
