𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟕 𝐭𝐨 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 🖤💛❤️

This year’s theme, 𝐴𝑙𝑙 𝐼𝑛, calls on all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every day.

The Amplify Crew, invited local youth service providers and young people to a special Youth Yarning Circle on Wednesday night, held in partnership with @‌wodongatafe. Participants learned traditional weaving techniques.

The evening centred on connection, creativity and celebration of First Nations culture and history.

The 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒈 𝑨𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒆 is open every month to anyone aged 12 to 24 doing big things with their talent and passion.

When you’re chasing your dreams, a little can go a long way — if you are pursuing a goal in the arts, music, sport, leadership, sustainability or something in between, 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑠𝑖𝑔𝑛.

𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐧𝐨𝐰 for the opportunity to receive funding of up to $600 for individuals and $800 for groups if successful.

Due to high levels of rainfall, a number of Wodonga’s sportsgrounds are closed until further notice. The conditions are being assessed day-by-day. 🌧️

Thank you for your patience as our dedicated team works to get the grounds re-opened as soon as safely possibly.

The playground at 𝑴𝒂𝒙 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒚 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒌 on Brockley St is getting a revamp! 🛝

The new playground will feature a variety of swings, balance beams, seesaw, spinner, rocker, digger and a multi-play unit with double slide, zip-line and shop front.

The park will be closed from today (𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐) while these exciting new additions are installed. Works are expected to be completed by 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟐.

As part of the renewal a connecting footpath and accessible picnic table will also be added to the space

During this time the nearest available playgrounds are Tooley Park on Waratah Way and Les Stone Park on Lawrence Street.

The wet weather has made things a little bit soggy at Willow Park 🌧️

Due to significant rainfall over the weekend, the main soccer grounds at 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤will be closed from today (𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏) and remain closed for the rest of the week when the situation will be reassessed.

Thanks for your patience as we work to maintain and protect these important facilities.

Through a Request for Quotation (RFQ) process, the council is looking to partner with organisations to create a safe, inclusive and engaging event that reflects the unique spirit of Wodonga and brings the community together to celebrate.

Two delivery options are available:
✨Partner with Wodonga Council to deliver the event; or,
✨Independently deliver the event as a community organisation.
