Friday Funding!
Each Friday, we share the different areas our funding supports and the impact these programs are having in our community.
This week we're highlighting the Hologic Trident Breast Specimen Imaging Machine at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital (the donation made in partnership with surgeon Dr Kylie Snook)0 that gives surgeons real-time confirmation during breast-conserving surgery, meaning fewer repeat operations for women diagnosed with breast cancer in the Hornsby community. πŸ’—

Each Friday, we share the different areas our funding supports and the impact these programs are having in our community.

This week, we're highlighting the Nutrition and Cooking Workshop Series at The Kay Van Norton Center for Wellbeing at the Mater

Led by the incredible , these workshops go beyond general healthy eating - Jane brings her specialist knowledge as a cancer dietitian to share practical meals, easy shortcuts, and targeted nutrition strategies specifically designed for women going through treatment. From fuelling recovery between chemo sessions to rebuilding strength and energy, these sessions give women the tools and confidence to nourish their bodies when it matters most.

The feedback has been incredibly meaningful, with participants sharing how the sessions have helped improve their eating habits, confidence, and overall wellbeing.
