If you have a patient with an accredited assistance or service dog, Ahpra has confirmed that they can bring their dog into your dental practice, including clinical areas.

The ADA's Infection Control Committee has prepared a guide on how to manage accredited assistance or service dogs in a clinical and practice environment to help you accommodate their visits.

The Fair Work Commission’s Minimum Wage Panel has handed down its annual decision on the annual wage review, announcing an increase of 6.0% to the National Minimum Wage, and to the C13 Modern Award classification, raising it to $26.44 per hour, effective from the first full pay period commencing on or after 1 July 2026.

All other Modern Award wage rates will be increased by 4.75% from the first full pay period commencing on or after 1 July 2026.

In the coming weeks, we will have additional resources available for our members detailing what these changes mean.
