💗 MORE THAN JUST CLOTHES… 💗

Yesterday we had the privilege of collecting the wardrobe of our beautiful Kerrie, who we sadly lost 10 months ago.

Our van was packed to the brim with her beautiful clothes, shoes and accessories each piece holding a little memory, a little story and a little bit of Kerrie.

Now, through RELOVED by Pink Finss, her wardrobe will begin a new chapter. Her beautiful pieces will be reloved, worn again and given new stories, while helping us continue supporting local families impacted by cancer.

There’s something incredibly special about knowing that even after someone is gone, their story can keep being told and their generosity can keep making a difference.

Kerrie, we’ll keep sharing the love. We’ll keep telling the stories. And we’ll make sure your beautiful things are truly RELOVED. 💗

Today is a reminder to ask a simple question that can mean so much…

“Are you OK?”

At Pink Finss, we know that when cancer enters a family, it doesn’t just affect the person with the diagnosis. Cancer affects everyone around them.

So today, check in on the patient, but also remember to check in on…
The carer who is holding everything together.
The husband or wife trying to stay strong.
The sister or brother carrying their own fear and worry.
The mum or dad who would do anything to take it away.
The children whose world has suddenly changed.
The friend who is always there.
And the wider support network quietly walking alongside them.

Sometimes the people supporting someone through cancer become so focused on making sure their loved one is OK that nobody stops to ask if they are OK too.

Make the call. Send the message. Have the cuppa. And take the time to really listen.

At Pink Finss, we support men, women and their families impacted by cancer across the Hawkesbury, because we know a cancer diagnosis reaches far beyond one person.

Cancer affects everyone. So check in on everyone.
