What an incredible evening at the Rotary Club of Hunters Hill Fundraiser ๐Ÿงก

We are deeply grateful to the Rotary Club of Hunters Hill, Ambassador Kerrie Oโ€™Brien, and every single person who attended, donated and supported this special event. Thanks to the generosity and community spirit shown on the night, $35,000 was raised to support vital brain cancer research and patient care!

Events like these help drive meaningful progress in research, improve outcomes for patients and families, and bring hope to those impacted by brain cancer.

Thank you message from our Chair:

On behalf of the Board, clinicians, researchers, patients and families connected with The Brain Cancer Group, I would like to sincerely thank the Rotary Club of Hunters Hill and our Ambassador Kerrie Oโ€™Brien, for your generous support and in particular for the wonderful fundraising event held on 15 May 2026.

Your commitment to supporting brain cancer research and patient care is deeply appreciated. Events such as yours not only help raise vital funds, but also increase awareness of the challenges faced by patients and families living with brain cancer. We are especially grateful for the time, energy and community spirit demonstrated by everyone involved in organising and supporting the event.

The generosity shown by the Rotary Club of Hunters Hill and its supporters will contribute directly to advancing research, improving treatment outcomes, and providing hope to those impacted by this devastating disease. Partnerships with community organisations such as Rotary are incredibly important to our work, and we value the ongoing relationship.

Thank you once again for your generosity, compassion and dedication. ๐Ÿงก

Meet Sharon ๐Ÿ‘‹

At our last Morning Tea Conversations, Sharon generously shared her story and spoke about the challenges she faced in finding the right support and knowing where to turn.

After discovering Morning Tea Conversations, Sharon found a welcoming space to connect with others who truly understand what it means to support someone with brain cancer.

These regular support gatherings are an opportunity to share stories, feel supported, and connect with a community that understands the journey.

Keen to join us? Our next Morning Tea Conversations will be held next week (Friday, 5 June).

After a brain cancer diagnosis, one of the most common questions is: โ€œWhat do I do now?โ€

Thereโ€™s no perfect roadmap, but there are a few simple steps that can help you feel more prepared and supported early on.

๐Ÿ“Œ Save this as a guide for your next appointment, or share it with someone who might need it.
