Day 2 of ANZPMEF 2025 continued the momentum with insightful discussions, shared learnings and vibrant connections, with a focus on “Feedforward and Feedback.”

🎤 Dr Ken Clark, from the Medical Council of New Zealand, reflected on the the importance of the theme for Day 2 in prevocational medical education.
🎤 Dr Christopher Watling, from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, shared a key message from his keynote, “Making Space for Feedback in a Culture of Assessment”.
🎤 Professor Michelle Leech, President of MDANZ reflected on why forums like ANZPMEF are important.
🎤 Chris Jenkinson, Medical Council of New Zealand shared why events such as this are important for prevocational education.

Day 1 of ANZPMEF 2025 set the stage for an inspiring start to the conference, bringing together medical educators, trainees and leaders to explore this year’s theme, “Navigating Transitions: Feedforward and Feedback”.

🎤 Dr Jo Burnand, ANZPMEF 2025 Chair, reflected on what makes ANZPMEF unique and the vision behind this year’s theme.

🎤 Professor Sheona MacLeod NHS England shared a reflection from her keynote, “Supporting from the Start”.

🎤 ANZPMEF 2025 Scientific Committee Chair Dr Ros Crampton and Emeritus Professor Kevin Forsyth, CPMEC spoke about why events like ANZPMEF are so valuable for building collaboration and advancing prevocational medical education.

🎤 Professor Peter Hockey Western Sydney Health shared a key takeaway from the panel discussion focused on “Transitions”.
