The concept of Fly Fish Australia is to give every person who joins the organisation the opportunity to compete across Australia and qualify to represent Australia at international fly fishing competitions.

The Board of Fly Fish Australia is notifying all members via the website of a Special General Meeting to be held on the 23rd June 2026 at 7:30pm via Zoom.

Further details of this meeting can be found on the website but essentially as per our existing Fly Fish Australia Incorporated constitution, the meeting will seek administrative amendments to the resolutions previously passed so that the form of the resolutions meet the requirements of the NSW Department of Fair Trading as it relates to the transfer of our incorporated body to a company limited by guarantee.

Please note that this meeting is not seeking changes to the already agreed proposed constitution of the new entity.

FFA VIC R7 - Goulburn River competition

Due to being very popular and in accordance with the FFA rules we have staggered the registration process in to 3 stages.

Current FFA members of the VIC chapter can register for the competition starting at 8.00am on 1 May with a special code emailed to you.
All other current chapter members of FFA can register from 8.00am on the 2 May.
Non members of FFA can register for this competition starting from 8.00am on the 3 May.

A long way to go. A good consistent effort by our Teams today.
Debrief completed, dinner done, time for fly tying and gear prep.
Due to the amount of rain today tomorrow’s session will be held on Lake Kuratou not the Whanganui River.
