What a special night for celebrating courage, resilience and the incredible potential of young Tasmanians 💛

Congratulations to Henry Wolf, winner of the 2026 Home Base Courage to Grow Award at the Tasmanian Young Achiever Awards 🏆

Henry’s story is one of determination, leadership and growth. Through perseverance and a strong commitment to his future, Henry has achieved outstanding results across education, employment and community involvement. From achieving Duke of Edinburgh Awards, to excelling in school, progressing into hospitality leadership, and now preparing to begin studies at the University of Tasmania. Henry truly embodies everything about our ‘Courage to grow’ award.

We are proud to support these awards and look forward to them each year as they celebrate young people across Tasmania who are making an inspiring impact in their communities every day.

Thank you to our special partner guests who joined us on the night: RACV Hobart Hotel, MyState Bank and Be Hers. We appreciate your support always, along with Awards Australia, for helping celebrate the achievements of Tasmania’s young people.

This one’s pretty special 💛

This year, for Youth Week Tasmania - we teamed up with an incredible group of young people to create a merch collection designed by them, for them. Turning ideas, artwork, and creativity into something real.

From workshops and sketchbooks to finished designs on merch, this project was all about giving young people space to create, collaborate, and have their voices seen.

Huge thanks to the young people who jumped in and shared their ideas with us, you made this project what it is ✨

And a big shout out to Indie School New Norfolk, Youth Network of Tasmania, Tasmanian Government, Slick Branding and Minch Media for helping make it happen via many different streams.

Last week, we pulled back the curtain.

This documentary was created to show not just what we do at Home Base, but how we do it and the people who make it happen.
