So great to have Rewind Cinema up at The Back Studio.

Our new program has landed. It features anniversary screenings galore, special discounted double features, words and even pictures!

We'll be operating out of the Back Studio at 6 Washington St in South Hobart (next to the soccer oval - sorry we mean dog walking park 🤭) on the weekend of the 5th - 7th of June!

Speaking of dogs! We're screening Wes Anderson's beautiful, hand-made, stunning work of art ISLE OF DOGS!

Speaking of things that bite! We're screening TAMMY & THE T-REX AND TROMA'S POULTRYGEIST AS A SPECIAL DOUBLE FEATURE!
YES! A movie about an evil scientist (played by Bernie from WEEKEND AT BERNIE'S) who transplants a guy's brain into a dinosaur! We can't believe this film was even made, it's amazing. It stars Denise Richards and Paul Walker and it's hilarious and cheesily gory and needs to be seen. And it's screening for 10 bucks!
AND! Following that is POULTRYGESIT: NIGHT OF THE CHICKEN DEAD. A movie about a fast food joint built on an ancient burial ground. IT HAS ZOMBIE CHICKENS. 10 bucks. This movie is nuts. NOT FOR THE FEINT OF HEART THIS ONE.

We also have 20th anniversary of PANS LABYRINTH as a double feature with SPIRIT OF THE BEEHIVE a movie that directly inspired del Toro to make Pan's. See them both for $20!

AMÉLIE has its 25th anniversary screening too!

The classic CASABLANCA is in there too along with the wonderful CAPTAIN FANTASTIC and we wrap up the weekend with such a beautiful meditative masterpiece from Roy Andersson with ABOUT ENDLESSNESS.

ReUse Market is open. Plants, clothes, furniture, bric-a-brac and particular this year loads of quality kids clothes and toys. Music and workshops starting at 4.30pm. Weather is spectacular. See you soon.
