What is your child's behaviour trying to tell you?

Supporting your child's behaviour can help families minimise triggers and teach children effective ways to communicate their needs.

In this session of Kiind’s Virtual MyTime, we’ll be joined by Paula, founder of Sing Move Regulate to discuss how we as carers can support the health development of impulse control at home and in the community.

WA, we've done it again! Here’s to another record-breaking Telethon7 Perth weekend 🙌

A huge thank you to Telethon and to everyone across WA who generously donated to support this weekend. You have no idea how much your support means to these incredible children and families.

WA, WE’VE DONE IT AGAIN!🥳

What a weekend. What a community. What an incredible show of generosity.
Every donation, every fundraiser, every volunteer and every person who picked up the phone has played a part in something truly special.

This is what happens when the Giving State comes together. When businesses, families, schools, community groups and individuals all get behind one shared purpose: making a difference for WA kids.

The final tally is in… and WA, you are simply incredible. ❤️

It’s Carers Week 2026 and we’re once again shining a light on the realities of what it means to be a carer.

To some, this might look like a packed calendar. For many parents and carers raising children with disability, it's simply everyday life.
Appointments, therapies, school meetings, phone calls, forms, plus all the things that keep family life moving.

Behind every appointment is a carer coordinating, advocating, planning and supporting, often with very little time left for themselves.

This Carers Week, we're recognising the extraordinary contribution of carers and the unseen work they do every single day.

As Kiind is a parent-led organisation, lived experience is grounded in everything we do. Many of our staff, including all our Peer Navigators are carers too. We understand the challenges because we've lived them, and we're here to walk alongside you with practical support, guidance and someone who truly gets it.

To every parent and carer, we see you and we’re here to support you. We invite you to join our community. It’s free to become a Kiind member and access one-on-one support from our team and connect with thousands of other parents and carers just like you.

Thriving Kids begins rolling out today.

We know many parents, carers and kin have questions about what Thriving Kids means for their child and what supports are available now.

While there is still more information to come and the rollout will happen gradually over time, there are some resources already available to help families understand their options and find support for their child.

If you're looking for information about child development, developmental delay, autism, or available supports, this is a good place to start: https://bit.ly/3TZ1Y8U

As always, Kiind is here to support families as these changes continue to roll out. We'll share more information as it becomes available.

Every child learns and grows in their own way. Some need extra support to develop, learn and grow.
