The Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI) is Australia's peak body representing the interests of surveying and spatial science professionals, combining the disciplines of land surveying, engineering & mining surveying, hydrography, and companion spatial science fields including cartography, spatial information (GIS), remote sensing, photogrammetry and

the emerging location based technologies. To achieve our mission as an Institute, SSSI conducts a broad range of activities on a national and regional level. The SSSI Western Australia (SSSI WA) region supports the interests of Western Australian surveying and spatial science professionals. It has an established reputation for providing quality professional development events and supporting student prizes and careers expos.
