WAAC and the Perth Rams want YOU to help us clean the beach before summer starts! 🫵☀️

We are hosting the first Swanbourne CleanUp, heading into the Swanbourne dunes to tidy and clean before summer and Pride kick off, so join us from 10am on October 31st and help us get the dunes summer-ready!

WAAC will be leading the clean with the team from the Rams providing support, some fun rugby beach activities, and a bit of a BBQ for all the hard workers - as well as eye candy too 👀

This is an open event for anyone who wants to support, but Swanbourne IS a n**e beach and a known beat, so you must be 18+ and comfortable navigating this space (with support from WAAC!).

Head to the private event page below to sign up or show your interest, and together we can keep Swanbourne s*xy! 😎

Howdy POWA Friends!

👩‍💻When we were consulting with our social media expert Mrs GTP (mine sounds like Super Nanny) on how we should be advertising our next POWA/WAAC Community Dinner, she suggested that we should do a "why we do this" post.

😂At first we thought it was such a silly idea
🤔But then we at POWA started thinking why DO we do this

👆What we came up with was its because of you....and us and the awesome fact that when we get together for an event like this we have so much fun!
But its also humbling to see that even though the common denominator in the room may be a diagnosis, it's not a definition.

Events like this show us the importance of connection and the impact when rather than things being done FOR community they are done BY community.

🥳Now if you too want to be a part of all of the fun, good food and tear inducing revelations, you should join us at the

POWA/WAAC Community Dinner
Thursday 20th August
5:30pm

Don't forget to reserve your place by clicking on the Eventbrite link!
