Dress for Success WA is a grass roots charity supporting the economic independence of WA women in need by providing work-appropriate attire and a suite of career programs and workshops. Dress for Success Western Australia has evolved from the successful career support agency Ready to Work which was established in 2008 by Rachael Hain and Kellie Benda. In 2015,

Rachael Hain joined forces with Madeleine Long and together they worked on the transition for Ready to Work to become part of the worldwide global charitable organisation Dress for Success. Dress for Success Perth was officially launched in April 2016. In January 2024 the organisation changed it's name to Dress for Success Western Australia to better reflect the services it provides across the State. Today Dress for Success Western Australia is pursuing its mission to support the financial independence of unemployed and vulnerable women in WA by providing professional attire, a network of support and career development tools which will help women build their skills, confidence and employability, enabling them to increase their choices in life and achieve self sufficiency. As registered charity, Dress for Success Western Australia is administered by a dedicated Board of experienced professionals and a small team of part-time staff. Our client services are facilitated by a team of exceptional volunteers from the administration offices and outfitting boutique in Subiaco. Dress for Success Western Australia is part of a global movement for change, empowering women to obtain safer and better futures. Our vision is a world where women thrive in work and in life.

Women of Perth, we see you, and the bag of donations you popped in the car boot three weeks ago.

Great news - we're opening for one hour before our Sustainability Sale on 22nd August to collect clothes donations!

With high demand for our services, our client boutique stock is running low, so we're very grateful for your donations of high-quality, gently worn women's clothing. Your donation will help another woman feel confident as she prepares for job interviews and employment.

If you'd wear it to a job interview, we'd love to pass it on to WA women on their journey to employment.
