That’s why we’re launching Beyond Sport — a free community afternoon bringing together sport, recreation, wellbeing, community organisations and people with lived experience of blindness and low vision.

Whether you’re interested in trying a new activity, exploring what’s available, connecting with others or simply enjoying a welcoming afternoon, we’d love to see you there.

• Connect with community groups and service providers

• Visit Grace's Sensory Space – a calm and welcoming retreat designed to help people relax, recharge and connect at their own pace

Beyond Sport is built around a simple idea: while sport and recreation provide the foundation, friendship, confidence and belonging are the outcomes that matter most.

If you’re aged 13+ and have, or think you may have, an impairment eligible for Para sport, this could be your opportunity to get identified and connected with Paralympic pathways across Australia! 🙌

ALL IN for Reconciliation.

At Blind Sports WA, we see every day how sport brings people together.

Across courts, fields, greens, dance floors and walking tracks, people connect through teamwork, respect, laughter and shared experience.

National Reconciliation Week reminds us that reconciliation is everyone’s responsibility. It happens through listening, learning, showing up, and creating spaces where everyone belongs.

We are proud to stand alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities, and we remain committed to building inclusive spaces where connection and belonging can grow through sport and recreation.

Because reconciliation is not something we watch from the sidelines.

We’re all in.

Blind Sports WA is heading to Found Lab Byford for a fun community Quiz Night and we’d love to see some familiar faces there tonight.
