At this free, two day workshop you will learn from experienced coaches and B1 athletes, explore inclusive coaching techniques and gain practical experience. No previous experience coaching athletes who are blind or have low vision is needed, and coaches from all sports are welcome!

Looking for something fun to do these school holidays? Come along to Let’s Get Visible, Blind Sports WA’s holiday program for children aged 5–15. Enjoy inclusive sports and games, outdoor adventures, creative activities, cooking, outings and plenty of chances to make friends.

Join Blind Sports WA, The Venetians – WA Blind Cricket Club and WA Cricket for a fun, relaxed Family Open Day.

🏆 BLIND SPORTS WA AWARD NOMINATIONS ARE OPEN!

Who deserves to be recognised for making a difference through blind and vision-impaired sport, recreation or community connection?

We’re inviting nominations for outstanding athletes, coaches, volunteers, advocates, clubs, organisations and community contributors from across Western Australia.

We are particularly keen to hear about the wonderful people, clubs and programs creating opportunities in regional WA.

Your nomination doesn’t need to be lengthy or formal. Just tell us who you’re nominating, what they have contributed and why their efforts deserve to be celebrated.

Today—and any day—connection starts with a conversation. 💛

Many people in our community experience isolation or find it difficult to admit when they’re struggling. Taking the time to genuinely ask, “Are you OK?” can help someone feel seen, heard and supported.

You don’t need to have all the answers. Simply:
- Ask R U OK?
- Listen without judgement
- Encourage action
- Check in again

It’s also OK not to be OK—and nobody should have to face a difficult time alone.

🎾 COME AND TRY BLV TENNIS! 🎾

Have you ever wondered what Blind and Low Vision Tennis is like? Now’s your chance to get on court and give it a go!

Blind Sports WA would love to see as many people who are blind or vision-impaired as possible join us for this special Come and Try session, being held as part of the BLV Open.

Whether you’ve played tennis before or have never picked up a racquet, come along, meet other players and discover how tennis can be adapted to make the game accessible for people with blindness or vision impairment.

You’ll be in great hands with Ben Rowe and Travis Chan, who will introduce you to the game and help you have a hit.
