How stunning are these pieces out of the glaze kiln this week. 🥰
Lots of glaze testing and combination glaze testing going on.
Also two club members are tweaking the mug design so that the perfect handleless mugs can be sold at the next Stirling Open Art Studios in March next year.

A friendly reminder to all Stirling Community Potters members that annual membership renewals are due by 30 June 2026.

Your membership helps support the running of our shared studio, equipment, workshops, exhibitions, and our wonderful creative community throughout the year.

✨ 2026 Membership Fees
• Annual Pottery Membership Renewal — $155
• New Members (First Year) — $240
• Full Stirling Adriatic Club Membership — $221

Please note that a waitlist for new members is currently in place, so if you are not planning to renew your membership, we would greatly appreciate hearing from you as soon as possible.

📣 Stirling Community Potters AGM 2026
All members are warmly encouraged to attend our upcoming Annual General Meeting.

🗓 Sunday 21 June
🕒 3:00 PM

The AGM is an important opportunity to hear updates about the club, contribute ideas, discuss future plans, and help shape the direction of our pottery community moving forward.

Whether you’re a long-time member or newer to the studio, your voice and involvement genuinely matter.

We’ll also be gathering afterwards for drinks and nibbles — a lovely chance to connect socially with fellow members in a relaxed setting.

We hope to see as many members there as possible.

Stirling Community Potters is encouraging our members to support the Empty Bowls Perth 2026 initiative run by WA Potters in support of Foodbank WA.

This wonderful community event brings together potters and pottery clubs from across Western Australia to donate handmade ceramic bowls, helping raise funds for West Australians experiencing food insecurity.

If you’re able to contribute a bowl or two, we’d love to see our SCP members get involved and support this incredibly worthwhile cause. Every handmade bowl helps make a difference.

Bowls should be food safe and approximately 140mm wide, however all styles and shapes are welcome.

📍 Bowls can either be collected or dropped off at Potters Market or Belmont Potters Group by 10 August 2026.

In this moment, Tony is shaping the spout — one of the most delicate parts of the process. Made in three parts, the teapot shows the skill, patience and craftsmanship behind wheel-thrown ceramics.
Tony is a true master on the wheel, and this Sunday you can come and meet him in person at the Stirling Open Studios Art Trail.
Join us to meet local makers, watch live demonstrations, explore the studio, and shop handmade work from 20+ local ceramic artists.
