Something inspirational for fellow owners of retired racehorses. Boyd is certainly a great promoter of the retired Thoroughbreds in eventing and we are sure there are plenty of young riders who would love to follow in his footsteps with their own Thoroughbreds. Rest easy Neville, you’ve done a superb job showing everyone what you were capable of achieving 👏🏼

Our lovely Eddie has landed himself the best of homes ✨💪🏼

A few weeks ago we welcomed Eddie to the herd, he’s fast slipping into his new role 💕
Some very sweet moments with his rider Savannah 💛
These horses just melt our hearts…
Thanks Off the Track WA … for all the work you do with these guys 🩷

HYDROTEST

Despite being bred for harness racing, Hydrotest never officially raced. He retired in 2013 after seven unimpressive trials, ready to begin a new career.

Since becoming an off the track mount, Hydotest has found his niche with the Brockless family. Previously competed by daughter, Anna in show jumping, Hydrotest is now an accomplished show horse and dressage mount for Rachel Brockless.

Results from this year include Champion Standardbred at Bunbury Dressage series, Reserve Champion Ridden Standardbred at the EWA Winter Gala, Best Performed Standardbred at Murray Dressage and Show Jumping day in the dressage and second in the Ridden Standardbred class at this year's Perth Royal Show.

Most recently, Hydrotest was awarded Supreme Ridden OTT at Collie Agricultural Show, making Rachel a very proud mum of her beautiful Standardbred.

"I couldn’t believe we beat the Champion Thoroughbred. At 18 years old he is doing so well. I love your support so much I have bought another OTT Standardbred."

Hydrotest and Rachel are fantastic promoters of what a retired Standardbred can achieve in their life after racing. We look forward to continuing to follow along with their journey!
