This time last week, more than 170 people laced up their shoes and showed their Heart & Sole, taking on the 20km challenge in support of families with seriously ill and injured children. ❤️

Thank you.

To every walker, fundraiser, donor, volunteer and supporter who played a part in Heart & Sole Walk for Sick Kids 2026 – thank you.

Last Sunday, we saw kindness in motion. Every step taken and dollar raised will help Ronald McDonald House Northern NSW provide wraparound support for families when they need it most.

A special thank you to our event sponsors and , along with our supporting partners whose generosity helped make the day possible.

It was a very special day for Avery, celebrating her third birthday with her family at our Ronald McDonald House 🎂❤️.

Obsessed with all things Toy Story – Avery was surprised with a Toy Story cake and balloon display, thanks to our wonderful community.

She donned her best ‘Jessie’ outfits for the occasion.

Join us in wishing Avery a very happy birthday!!

Special thank you to Rocel's Cupcake Creation and Love Glows.

From hospital to holiday, Kaylani’s family has stayed close every step of the way ❤.

Born at just 27 weeks, Kaylani has spent much of her first 14 months in and out of hospital.

Between appointments and check-ups, our Ronald McDonald House Family Room has been a place of comfort and connection, where Kaylani and her mum can stay close to medical care and take a much-needed break from the ward.

Earlier this year, the family also enjoyed a week at our Family Retreat in Forster — a chance to rest, recharge, and make precious memories together after a challenging first year.

As Kaylani continues to grow stronger, her family is right by her side – because family stays, and we stay with them ❤.

It was an exciting afternoon at our Ronald McDonald House when the team from Giving Machine Newcastle came to visit.

In the lead up the Christmas, our local community shared the gift of hope through Giving Machine donations – helping provide more than 45 nights of comfort and support for families like Vinnie’s, so they can stay together and close when it matters most ❤🏡.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing community and the Giving Machine team for the kindness and support you continue to show our families.

It was an exciting afternoon for Tate, being front and centre when the Newcastle Knights took on the South Sydney Rabbitohs at the McDonald’s Community Match Day 🏈.

The community was a-buzz with a record breaking 50-50 raffle, thanks to our incredible volunteers. Superstar Tate ran the match ball out before hanging out with Knights and McDonald’s legends while watching the Knights take home the win.

A big thank you to the Newcastle Knights for having Tate and his family be a part of such a fun-filled day.

Last week our families came together to celebrate Mother’s Day 💗.

Mum’s and mother-figures were spoilt with hair cuts and styling by the CPR team and a Paint & High Tea session thanks to Orica KKTC.

Gifts were plentiful, with kids picking a special gift for mum at our Mother’s Day Stall, thanks to the wonderful MOA & Co and Joey Davis.

It was a lovely way to celebrate the Mother’s Day weekend – thank you to our generous community for helping ensure family stays cared for and celebrated.
