Our very own MKUD Stiv Naumov will be performing at Round 1 of the Australian Championship, proudly supporting Broadmeadow Magic!

📅 Saturday 17th October
⏰ Kick-off at 3:00pm
📍 Magic Park, Broadmeadow

📺 Can’t make it to the ground? All games will be broadcast LIVE on SBS!

Let’s bring the Macedonian spirit, the dancing, the passion and the NOISE! 🇲🇰❤️ We want to see our community out in full force, cheering on our dancing group and getting behind Broadmeadow Magic as they take on this exciting challenge!

This is the irreversible result of abhorrent behaviour.

A headstone with my 14-year-old son’s name on it.

For nearly three years, I had to stay silent about the man who left Bryson for dead.

I had to measure every word. Bite my tongue. Hold back what I desperately wanted to say because I couldn’t dare jeopardise his right to a fair trial.

Think about that.

I had to protect his right to fairness, while living every day with the irreversible consequences of the way he left Bryson on the side of the road and drove away.

When I was finally able to speak, I started an ePetition specifically titled “Reforming laws for drivers who flee fatal crash scenes.”

CRASH scenes.

That word was deliberate.

Yet during the parliamentary debate, one Member of Parliament completely ignored that distinction and referred to what happened as an “accident” nine times.

Nine times - 9

Let me be absolutely clear:

THERE WAS NOTHING ACCIDENTAL ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED TO BRYSON.

Drinking before driving was not an accident.
Using a phone while driving was not an accident.
Drifting into the breakdown lane was not an accident.
Leaving Bryson on the side of the road without calling for help was not an accident.

These were actions and choices.

And the result of that abhorrent behaviour is irreversible.

Bryson does not get another chance.
We do not get our son back.
His sisters do not get their brother back.
His friends do not get their mate back.

For nearly three years, I was expected to understand the power and consequences of my words.

Language matters.

Calling road crime an “accident” can minimise actions, soften accountability and compound the trauma of the families left behind.

It was a CRASH.

Bryson was left for DEAD.

It was not an accident.
