“Government alone cannot fix the housing crisis. Private enterprise has to be part of the solution.”

A powerful reminder that addressing homelessness and housing insecurity requires all of us — government, community organisations, businesses and individuals.

Real change happens when people use their influence, resources and skills to create opportunities for others.

What role do you think businesses can play in building stronger communities?

There's a moment in a courtroom we'll never forget.
Jaclyn, our Families Coordinator had sat beside this young mum through every hearing. In court, in care team meetings, across the table from legal counsel and child protection workers.
She made the case with quiet, unwavering conviction: here is a mother who, given the right support, is extraordinary.
When the magistrate delivered his decision, he paused.
"I do not see cases like this — where women are offered a supported housing option like this — and with confidence, I can grant them custody."
Mum came home with her baby in her arms and tears on her cheeks.
Your gift before June 30 means we can do this again for the next family waiting at our door.
We have 28 days. Will you give today?

🍳 Got spare reward points gathering dust?

Fusion could really use some new frypans! If you’re looking for a way to use up those random points from Coles, Woolies, Flybuys, Everyday Rewards, or anywhere else, we’d happily give a new frypan a loving home.

Small, medium, large… if it can fry an egg without sticking, we’re interested! 😄

Every donated frypan helps us cook meals for the young people we support.

She arrived at Fusion carrying more than most could bear.

A young mum.
A violent relationship she'd escaped.
Her housing gone.
And her baby, not yet twelve months old - removed by Child Protection.

To be reunited with her child, she needed to prove she could provide a safe, stable home.

She had nothing.

And then she had Fusion.

With safe housing, practical support, advocacy, and people who believed in her, she began rebuilding her life step by step.

This is what your tax-deductible gift makes possible.

And with June 30 just 4 weeks away, we're asking you to continue providing safe housing and wraparound support for vulnerable young people and families across the Mornington Peninsula.

Every dollar makes a difference.

Read her full story and give before June 30. to make one.

It’s Volunteers Week 💛

This week we’re celebrating the people who quietly show up, help carry the load, offer encouragement, deliver food, sort donations, help with paperwork, tend gardens, complete maintenance jobs, create safe spaces and remind young people they matter.

Behind every program, meal, conversation and act of care are volunteers helping make it possible.

Thank you for being part of our Fusion community.

ThankYOU Chris Crewther MP - Member for Mornington for continuing to raise and highlight the dire housing crisis across the peninsula in parliament, and to Jess Wilson MP for backing the acknowledgment with and $250,000 commitment to support Fusion Mornington Peninsula work in our Community. While many speak about the crisis, real change happens when words are matched with action. Every day, local services are stretched beyond capacity as more young people and families face homelessness across the peninsula .
Actions speak louder- and this support will make a difference.

TWO Mornington Peninsula homelessness services have welcomed a $500,000 Liberal Party election pledge but say ongoing operational funding remains the more urgent need. Read more: https://www.mpnews.com.au/2026/05/13/500000-election-pledge-for-homelessness-services/

Our group art therapy session today was based on what our young people need in this moment and from this space to help them to live their best lives.
Words like compassion, respect, hope, growth and connection came up, along with images of sunshine, music, shooting stars and glitter.
We love seeing our young people come together to collaborate, express their needs and connect with each other 💙

Special thanks to archstonecreative for guiding our young people through this project!
