It might be the Cup Weekend - but as the public holiday falls midweek - not on Monday- Training is as usual this week. (31/10)
I have promised my girl there are none of those scary things at Bunnings coming. She is hoping the rain holds off so she can hang out with her puppy pals - see you at the club.

Don’t forget tomorrows classes are slightly adjusted (October 17)
9am all usual classes plus Jane’s intermediate

9:30am AGM and sausage sizzle

10 am (usual 10:30 classes plus teen puppies and advanced little dogs)

Please stay or come early for the AGM. We are community dog club and many hands make light work.

Slight adjustments to classes
9 am classes as per normal plus Jane’s intermediate class
9:30 AGM - join us for a sausage sizzle
10 am classes (all usual 10:30 classes) plus advanced little dogs and teen puppies

FYI - the reserve was sprayed early this morning (Friday) We are told it will be ok tomorrow, but we will also try to hold classes out of the mud or may use class time for a ‘group’ walk.
We hope this will pre warn you and you can make your own decision about class tomorrow based on your own personal situation.

Last weekend off before we return after the winter break. (Returning July 18) There is still time to practice before the return. How are your puppy push ups going? Wait/stay? Have you tried teaching your dog “middle?” (That is to come and sit between your legs)

Whilst we are on our winter break don’t forget that a little bit of training regularly goes a long way.
In the wet weather this is also a great way to engage in enrichment training when you are limited for exercise.
Training exercises you could practice include : watch/look; doggy push ups (sit/drop(or down)/sit/stand) ; wait and stays - increase difficulty with either length or distance; find it/leave it; or a trick - show us on our return!
