Australia’s most watched children’s TV show is putting Auslan front and centre! To mark the National Week of Deaf People 2026, the ABC is launching Bluey’s Auslan Sign & Seek, a fun and interactive way for families to learn Auslan together, in collaboration with Deaf Connect. The playful game is narrated by the voice of Jack’s Dad, beloved comedian Hamish Blake.
Viewers can catch a Bluey marathon on ABC Kids, with back-to-back Bluey airing from 7.30am to 7.30pm on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October including 24 episodes signed in Auslan, made in collaboration with Deaf Connect.
Throughout the weekend, there will be a fun game of Sign & Seek with tutorials on how to sign select words and moments from Bluey episodes including Keepy Uppy, Daddy Robot and Turtleboy. Families can keep an eye out to learn the signs during special versions of the iconic Bluey theme song, and then spot the words in the episode.
The ABC has expanded its collection of Auslan accessible episodes, with all episodes of Bluey available with Auslan translation from 3 October, including The Sign and Bluey’s Big Play.
