Mornington Peninsula Family History Society

Mornington Peninsula Family History Society Researching family and local history. The Society is the third largest in Victoria. Volunteers are on duty to assist during opening hours.

It is situated in Frankston Sth Recreation Centre in Towerhill Road, Frankston (Melways 102 E7). Meetings are held on the first Saturday afternoons of February, April, June, August, October and December with interesting guest speakers and afternoon tea. Our library and resource centre is available and members and visitors may use: books, microfiche, microfilm, magazines, the networked computers with resource CDs, and internet computers with subscriptions to Ancestry.com and FindmyPast.

In exciting news for family historians and other researchers, our archivists have now made available digitised student cards in the University of Melbourne Archives collection. The collection holds student record cards from the University's inception in 1853 to 1986.
