A glimpse into CONJAH’S (Jahra Wasasala and Ooshcon) work, presented as part of NEW NEW - a triple bill of short works by artists informed by street and club dance forms.

‘DARK!2’ by CONJAH confronts a darkness that can only be faced when two conflicting entities connect. Veiled motives, amorphous creatures, lineages of darkness and a shifting landscape converge in this excerpt from CONJAH and their collaborators.

The Seat of the Squatter by Jorje explores humanity’s cyclical relationship with movement, ritual and transcendence. Moving through threshold of darkness and light, safety and risk, holding the body as a site where ritual, memory and imagination intersect.
