🐾 Meet Murphy 🐾

Murphy is a big handsome boy he’s just turned 4 years old he is looking for his forever home.

He’s a massive foodie and will do just about anything for a treat or dinner on time. Murphy loves attention from his people and once he bonds with you, he’ll want to be involved in everything you’re doing.

Murphy can be a little shy when meeting new people, but he settles in well once he feels safe and comfortable. When he trusts you, he’s super affectionate, loves pats, and will happily follow you around the house like your little shadow.

He has been raised around cats and dogs his whole life, but as he’s gotten older he’s decided he would much rather have the home to himself. Murphy likes being the boss and would do best as the only pet where he can soak up all the love and attention.

He would suit a calmer indoor home with someone patient who will give him time to settle in properly. Once he does, he’s an incredibly rewarding companion.

🏡 Strictly indoor-only home required.
Located in Traralgon.

🐾 Exciting News for the Latrobe Valley Community 🐾

We are excited to announce the opening of a new local cat rescue here in the Latrobe Valley!

Although our rescue was originally founded in 2023, we are proud to continue its legacy with a fresh new chapter focused on supporting the cats and community of the Latrobe Valley.

We are here to help cats across the region through rescue, rehabilitation, foster care, and rehoming, while also supporting the local community wherever we can. Our mission is to give every cat the chance at a safe, happy, and loving future.

We are passionate about building a fun, supportive, and caring relationship within our local community and look forward to growing alongside you all. 🐱❤️

Please feel free to reach out to us via our page anytime. We can’t wait to meet everyone and begin this journey together!

Meet Lottie.

Lottie was rescued at just 7 weeks old and was going to be put to sleep simply because she was considered “undesirable.” Both of her parents were Munchkins, but Lottie inherited long legs instead.

The Munchkin gene is a form of dwarfism, and when cats are bred, it doesn’t always pass on. So while Lottie may look like an ordinary moggy, she is every bit as beautiful and just as deserving of love, safety, and a forever home.

Thankfully, three years ago, Lottie got exactly that when one of our volunteers adopted her — and she has been loved ever since.

These two little spitfire girls are officially off the streets and safe in foster care 💛

They’re still learning that humans aren’t so scary, but every day they’re making progress with lots of patience, love, and gentle socialisation.

It’s always a journey with our spicy girls, but we know their sweet personalities will shine through in time 🐾

Stay tuned for updates on their progress — we can’t wait to see them grow into confident, happy little ladies.

Happy Monday 🤍

We wanted to share this powerful post with you, because it really makes you stop and think.

Imagine what goes through a cat’s mind — being rehomed, dumped on the streets, or sitting quietly in a shelter. They don’t understand why their world suddenly changed. They only remember love, familiarity, and then… loss.

They wait. They wonder. They hope.

Every cat carries a story in their heart, even if they can’t tell us. All they want is safety, kindness, and someone who won’t leave them behind. 🐾
