First performed in the back room of an old second-hand bookshop, The Bookbinder is an award-winning dark fairy-tale brought to life through inventive puppetry, paper art and shadow play.

In this one-man performance, an old man sits down to read the tale of a bookbinding apprentice. As his words fill the room, the story slips off the page and and comes to life in the workshop around him.
