In the most comprehensive report ever undertaken about ad breaks on SBS, Save Our SBS and in the public good law firm Maddocks examined the SBS Board's 2006 re-interpretation of ‘natural program breaks’ allowing programs be interrupted for commercial breaks, finding the practice is contrary to the parliament's intentions.
