🌱 Looking for a fun, relaxing way to get outdoors and connect with others? Come and join us at Grinter Garden on Coppards Road!

Our Brussels sprouts and other goodies are growing nicely, and there’s always something to plant, learn and enjoy together.

Whether you’re a seasoned green thumb, new to gardening, or simply looking to meet people and enjoy some fresh air, everyone is welcome — and it’s FREE!

💜 Connected Seniors – Seniors Week 2026

What a wonderful day connecting seniors in the 3219 community with valuable aged care information, support services and opportunities!

Thanks to City of Greater Geelong (CoGG) funding, our information circle and Q&A brought together local service providers to share knowledge, answer questions and help seniors navigate the support available to them.

A special thank you to our presenters: Erica – Barwon Health Mental Health and Wellbeing Local, Gabby – Estia Health, Alex from Prestige In Home Care, Carmel and Sue at Tannoch Brae / Bolton Clarke, Paola – Housing for the Aged Action Group, Deb – Cultura and Sue from Safe Solutions Care.

After a delicious light lunch by DAL Catering, we unwound with a mindfulness and relaxation session led by Cindy from Empower Your Everyday. 🌿

Thank you to everyone who contributed to such a meaningful day of connection, learning and wellbeing.

We believe everyone deserves access to fresh, nutritious food and essential household items, regardless of their circumstances.

Our Foodbank operates Wednesday's, providing a range of essentials to support individuals and families in our community, including:

🍎 Fresh fruit and vegetables
🥫 Pantry staples and essential food items
🍗 Meals and protein options
🧴 Toiletries and personal hygiene products
💜 Sanitary items and other essentials

Accessing our Foodbank is simple and respectful. We ask for your postcode and the number of people in your household. Our number system helps us manage the service fairly, supporting equity, sustainability and dignity for everyone.

We aim to make sure our resources are shared responsibly so we can continue supporting as many local households as possible. Donations are always appreciated from those who are able to contribute, but our focus is on ensuring people can access the support they need.

Our Foodbank is made possible through the generosity and support of Department of Families, Fairness and Housing - VIC, Give Where You Live Foundation, Geelong Foodshare, Bakers Delight, Foodbank Victoria and our Community Gardeners. We sincerely thank all our partners, donors and volunteers for helping us make a difference in our community.
