Join the Friends for a gourmet meal at our premier fundraising event at Mount Duneed Estate, followed by guest speaker Richards’s fascinating talk on ‘Reinvigorating the historic Kew Gardens landscape’. Our Guest, Richard Barley MBE was Director of Horticulture at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew for 12 years. This year we will have a silent auction, and a fabulous raffle.

Wednesdays at the Geelong Botanic Gardens offer a variety of activities for visitors of all interests. Whether you are a keen gardener, nature enthusiast, or simply looking for a peaceful outing, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Geelong Botanic Gardens Wednesday activities:
• Nursery open 9:30 am–12:30 pm
• Guided walk at 11:00 am, meet at front gates
• Visit WYM Cafe
Find affordable Salvias, Pelargoniums, Australian plants, perennials, grasses, and succulents from our gardens. Large plant pickups can be arranged. The Plant Nursery is at the rear of the Gardens, with entry only from within the Gardens.
