Registrations are open for term 4 for a FREE parent support program for parents and caregivers of children ages 0-8 who have a developmental delay, disability or are neurodiverse. Each group is co-facilitated by a therapist and a parent with lived experience, creating a safe and supportive space to connect, share experiences and learn together.

It has been a wild last month of the year for the profession - I’ll be taking a well earned rest & returning to clinical work mid-Jan.

Today the NDIA announced that an independent review of NDIS funded music therapy & art therapy supports is taking place and any proposed changes will not come into force until the review is completed and the relevant findings are considered.
Whilst there are still major and multiple concerns and issues, this is a small win for people with disabilities accessing or needing to access music therapy currently and in the near-future.

Today is the international day of people with disability! Over the past 7 years has provided individual and group to assist people with disabilities and/or developmental delay and their families develop their ability to communicate and independently participate in the community, ensuring that diverse voices are heard.
