Our guest speakers from Pedal for Prostate. David Vernon and Mark Woodhead,plus Phil Vernon and myself.Both Phil and myself have survived Prostate Cancer.

They started doing the rides on 2014 and have raised $262,000.
Our club has been there from day one., as have degrandi cycljng.
We are the largest non commercial contributor.

Something we should be very proud of.

There is obviously a need for Clubs like Probus, which are all about friendship.

Probus

On Friday 14th Feb we held this meeting at the Armstrong Creek Eastern Hub


83 People attended A President, 2 Vps,Secretary, Treasurer and 8 other committee members.
How long did this take?

Nominations were called to fill the relevant positions. Within a few minutes all was said and done.

The Probus Club of Armstrong Creek was formed with 50 paid up members

Let’s not forget the hard workers behind the scenes. We had 7 people (inc 1 partner) in attendance along with 6 from the Probus Club of Waurn Ponds Deakin .


Just goes to prove we all need companionship in one form or another. With luck companionship develops into friendship, fun times and yes good old Fellowship.
