This week is National Reconciliation Week in Australia🇦🇺

At OZiHOUSE, we acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we live, work and study, and pay our respects to Elders past and present.

National Reconciliation Week is a time to learn about and reflect on the histories, cultures, and experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples - the First Nations peoples of Australia. It also recognises the ongoing journey towards respect, understanding, and reconciliation.

For international students, it's a valuable opportunity to learn more about the rich history and culture of the place you are now calling home during your studies.

There are many Reconciliation Week events happening across the country this week, including at Fed Square for Melbourne - so make sure to check them out and experience this important week for yourself.

❓What Happens at OZiHOUSE Study Tour?
🙌 Hear from Japanese international students studying at the University of Melbourne!

We recently hosted a study tour in Melbourne for students from Japan 🇯🇵 and Thailand 🇹🇭 as part of our OZiEXPERIENCE program.

The group visited the University of Melbourne, where they explored campus life through a guided tour, Q&A, and conversations with current students.

This peer-to-peer experience helped students gain a real understanding of university life and build confidence in their future study pathways.
