Another great stop on our OZiHOUSE study tour in Sydney!

14 students from the Gyeonggi Youth Ladder Program from Korea🇰🇷 visited The Bread & Butter Project in Marrickville🥐

This social enterprise bakery trains and employs refugees and people seeking asylum — with ~90% of its costs covered by product sales. Program Manager Jessie Wang welcomed the group and answered their questions about how the bakery changes lives.

Tasting the fresh focaccia & muffins, and one student cheekily asked for the recipe😄 (imagine how good it was!!!)

This is what OZiHOUSE study tours are about: going beyond sightseeing to connect students with organisations doing real, meaningful work.

On 26 August, 15 Vietnamese prospective students and parents visited the Study Melbourne Hub to learn about the support services the Victorian Government offers to international students.

Students also had the chance to engage with Victorian alumni who shared their personal experiences of studying and living in Victoria, providing an authentic perspective on life as an international student.

This event reflects a great collaboration between Study Melbourne and education providers, and follows the historical visit of Vietnam’s General Secretary and President To Lam in early August, which deepened people‑to‑people ties and enhanced educational partnerships between Vietnam and Australia.

A special exchange at OZiHOUSE this month🇭🇰🇦🇺

We recently welcomed students from Po Kok Secondary School (Hong Kong) to Melbourne, where they visited Caulfield Grammar School to experience what Australian education and campus life firsthand.

In just a short time, students from both schools connected, laughed, and mingled like old friends. It's amazing how fast language and cultural differences fade away when students just get to be themselves❤️

We are pleased to welcome Yukari Sekino as OZiHOUSE's new Japan Market Lead, based in Tokyo.

Yukari brings over 25 years of experience across Japanese and global business, spanning luxury hospitality, fashion, food and beverage, and customer experience. She has also worked with University of Melbourne study tours, supporting international student programs and cross-cultural experiences in Australia. Most recently, she worked as a freelance consultant in Tokyo specialising in market entry and business development.

In her new role, Yukari will lead OZiHOUSE's growth in Japan, strengthening relationships with education partners and agents, and supporting student recruitment into our homestay, accommodation, and study tour programs.

Her appointment reflects our commitment to closer collaboration with partners in our most important market.

Welcoming Jiangsu Students to Melbourne 🇨🇳🛫🇦🇺

16 junior students and 5 educators, including the school's Vice Principal, travelled to Melbourne for a week-long study and cultural immersion!

They attended classes at Kew High School while experiencing Australian culture and everyday life through homestays with our warm, welcoming OZi host families❤️
