Hi AMES Australia Team,
Nominations are now open for the Multicultural Youth Network (MYN) 2026 – an incredible opportunity for passionate young leaders aged 18–25 to represent their regions and shape policies that impact Victoria’s diverse communities.
The MYN is a formal advisory body to the Victorian Multicultural Commission (VMC), giving young people a direct voice in decision-making.

CASS Care is hosting a series of fun and interactive art workshops for residents of the City of Melbourne. Only a few spots remain – if you’re interested, don’t miss this chance to register now!

This workshop series will be held over three consecutive Friday mornings in September, offering a variety of exciting activities:
β€’ Handmade candle making
β€’ Mobile photography class
β€’ Mid-Autumn Festival lantern painting

The workshops will be conducted in Mandarin, are completely free of charge, and include all necessary materials plus delicious refreshments. You can take home your own handmade candle and lantern, and participants in the mobile photography workshop will also receive a free stylus pen! Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis – join us for a creative and fun experience!
