We know, we know… it’s a little early to be talking about Christmas! But with so many of you asking about our opening hours over the festive season, we thought we’d get in early!

The good news? We’ll be open throughout the week of Christmas, with Christmas Day being the only day we’re closed! 🎅✨

As our new hotel wing, Eliza’s Place, moves into the final stages of construction, we wanted to take a moment to highlight our dedicated team behind the uniquely handcrafted details throughout the new building.

To help guide visitors around, every sign and room number has been carefully crafted by our very own Sovereign Hill maintenance team. They have been putting their skilled trades to work adding those little touches that make Eliza’s Place truly unique.

By lantern light, your guide will uncover the superstitions, rituals and strange traditions that shaped life and death in the 1850s. Hear tales of ghost hoaxing and mysterious encounters above ground, before descending deep underground to discover the hardships, deadly accidents and dangers faced by those chasing their fortune.
