All members are advised that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Albany Agricultural Society Inc. will be held at:

• Confirmation of the minutes of the previous AGM
• Consideration of annual reports and yearly statements of account
• Receipt of the Finance Report and Balance Sheet
• Election of the Patron, Vice Patrons & Trustees
• Election of Office Holders & Committee Members
• Election of Councillors for Show Sections
• Election of an Auditor
• Consideration of any business for which due notice has been given in writing

💐The Horticultural Section of the Albany Agricultural Society recently hosted a special morning tea for Arthur, Shirley and Susan in recognition of their many years of dedicated service and contribution.

The new committee, proudly made up of members from the Two Rivers Garden Club, is excited to be part of this year’s Albany Show as we celebrate the bicentennial year of Albany’s settlement.

With this special milestone in mind, we encourage everyone in the community to get involved and embrace this year’s theme:

🌱“Plant it, Nurture it, Show it!” 🪴

Whether you are an experienced gardener or just starting out, we would love to see your entries and celebrate the beauty and creativity of our local gardens and growers.

More details regarding entry categories, schedules and prizes to be won will be released in the coming months, so keep an eye out and start planning your exhibits now! 💐

📣 Festive Season Closure Notice

The Albany Agricultural Society office will be open until Friday, 19th December, then closed over the festive season and January to give our staff a well-earned break. We’ll be back on deck from Monday, 2nd February.

Huge thanks to Gary and the team at Albany Motorcycles for generously providing this vital transportation for Alan and our team to get around the showgrounds during the Show.

Alan approached Gary at Albany Motorcycles to ask if he could help him in his role as a Volunteer to assist the Secretary at the Albany Show this year, it involved lots of movement for communication with various show matters.

Alan is well known from his previous Farming background, often seen at the Newdegate Field Days and his cheerful face helping his two sons out at Smiths Aluminium and Albany Caravan Repairs, he also still cuts a mean lap time in the Vets class racing at the Albany City Kart Club.

Well here he is pictured in the Albany Motorcycles 2026 Kawasaki Mule 2WD 600 model Mule.

This is the ideal run around Utility vehicle and with its quiet running, and small turning circle on both sealed and unsealed surfaces, makes it the ideal choice for use at the Showgrounds. Keep up the great volunteer work Alan it’s a credit to you.
