We’re proud to see CEO Pam Bubrzycki's opinion piece published in WAtoday.com.au and picked up nationally by The Sydney Morning Herald, highlighting the vital role social prescribing can play in strengthening health and wellbeing, especially in regional communities.

Access to the right support, beyond just clinical care, can make a real difference in people’s lives.

If we are serious about improving health outcomes and reducing pressure on our health system in Western Australia, we must start recognising community connection as a form of care.

This morning, some of our Albany team joined the National Reconciliation Week Breakfast broadcast from Boorloo (Perth), at the Albany Entertainment Centre, along with the launch of the Great Southern Pilot RAP.

The event was a powerful reminder of the importance of listening, learning, and walking forward together.

Amity Health is proud to support Australia’s first place-based RAP alongside Reconciliation WA and local partners.

As our COO Matt Looker shared, “Today reinforced the power of truth-telling, being honest, accountable and listening deeply as we move forward together.”

We’re committed to being "All In", walking alongside our community on the journey toward reconciliation.

Be Wise, Immunise this Winter!

As we head into the colder months, getting a free flu vaccination is one of the easiest ways to keep the flu away.

At Amity Health, we're proud to support the WA Government 'Be Wise, Immunise' campaign. Our Albany team recently rolled up their sleeves with Terry White Chemmart (Chester Pass) visiting onsite.

Pictured below is Amity Health's CEO Pam Bubrzycki with Board Member Simone Brand.

A flu spray is also a great option for children who don't like needles! After a tough flu season last year, let's all do our part to keep our communities health.

A great morning in the ABC Great Southern studio!

Project Lead Dorte Hansen joined Nadia Mitsopolous on ABC Perth, alongside Julie, a participant in Amity Health's Albany Connected Communities Project.

A big thank you to Julie for sharing her story and to ABC Radio for helping highlight the impact of social prescribing in our community.

This project is helping to reduce isolation, build connections, and support people to stay well, while easing the pressure on local healthcare services.
