✨ Teamwork makes the dream work ✨

Right now, over 100 young people are working together to create their performances for our Showcase 2026. At SEA, everyone is a collaborator and an active team member. Collaboration involves learning how to listen and share creative ideas, respecting our differences, making compromises and building trust. Most importantly, we've got each other's backs onstage and offstage.

‘Collaboration’ is one of our wellbeing focus areas for this term.

Showcase 2026 is part of our Performing Arts Participation Program presented by Healthway.

✨Managing Pressure✨

At SEA we explore how stress and pressure can influence our thoughts, emotions, and physical wellbeing.

With Showcase approaching, it’s natural to experience performance pressure. Learning to notice if you are feeling under-stressed, over-stressed or somewhere in the middle is an important part of managing pressure as a performer and in everyday life.

‘Managing Pressure’ is one of our wellbeing focus areas for this term.

Showcase 2026 is part of our Performing Arts Participation Program presented by Healthway.

We are incredibly grateful to the State Government of Western Australia for investing $10,000 towards new circus equipment for our programs.

This support helps us engage even more children and young people in circus activities that build confidence, support physical development and contribute to social and emotional wellbeing.

Thanks to this funding, we have been able to purchase new equipment including trapezes, juggling resources and exciting new vaulting equipment for use across our weekly workshops.

What a night 🔥
KAARLA WIRREN brought our community together around the fire in a powerful sharing of story, culture and connection. From the first spark to the final moments, it was a moving reflection on resilience, community and the spirit of fire.
Deep gratitude to the young people, artists, creatives and community members who brought this work to life over the past eight months. Your energy, care and commitment created something truly unforgettable.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, gathered, reflected and shared in this experience.
