🌟 SOUTH AUSTRALIA’S YOUNG ACHIEVER OF THE YEAR 2026 🌟
What a night for Bailee Phillips.
Last night, Bailee was recognised with the University Senior College Create Change Award before being announced as the 2026 Channel 7 South Australia Young Achiever of the Year.
For those of us at Puddle Jumpers, this recognition comes as no surprise.
From a young volunteer finding her feet, to a mentor, advocate and leader helping shape the experiences of countless children and young people, watching Bailee’s journey has been one of the great privileges of our organisation.
Over the years, we have watched her grow into an exceptional young leader. Someone who quietly gets on with the job, shows up for others, gives her time generously and genuinely cares about making a difference.
Whether she’s on camp supporting children, mentoring young people, helping behind the scenes, speaking up when it matters or creating opportunities for others, Bailee leads with kindness, authenticity and determination.
This award recognises the impact of one young person, but it also highlights what is possible when young people are given opportunities to lead, contribute and be heard.
We are incredibly proud of Bailee and everything she has achieved.
We also want to acknowledge the other nine finalists recognised tonight. Congratulations to Cody 0bst, Neve Taylor, Xavier O’Loughlin, Emily H***e and Hailey Dahlenberg who were all present! South Australia is filled with extraordinary young people doing incredible things in their communities, and it was wonderful to see their contributions celebrated.
Bailee, thank you for your heart, your commitment and your unwavering belief that things can always be made better for others.
Congratulations on being named the recipient of the University Senior College Create Change Award and the 2026 Channel 7 South Australia Young Achiever of the Year.
What an incredible and well-deserved achievement. 💜
