🚛 GOT A UTE, TRUCK OR TRAILER? CAN YOU HELP TOMORROW? 💛

The beautiful team at Golden Grove Salvos have offered us shop fittings and other items to help us rebuild after the loss of our Hindmarsh op shop. We are soooo grateful! 🥰

📸 Pictured are just some of the items they’ve generously offered us.

Now we need some helping hands to collect and transport them tomorrow, Friday 16 October!

🛻 Do you have a ute, truck or trailer?
💪 Can you lend a hand with lifting and loading?
📦 Could you help with temporary storage?

We haven’t found a new shop yet, so we’re also super keen to hear from anyone with a dry, secure space to store these items while we keep searching. A shed, garage or spare warehouse space could make such a difference!

If you can help with transport, loading or storage, please message us with your availability and what you can offer, and we’ll coordinate the details.

These wonderful girls from St Dominic’s Priory College Adelaide volunteered at our Western Hub AND donated birthday kits they put together themselves!

With cake mix, icing and extra goodies, these thoughtful kits will help families make a child’s birthday feel special. Because every child deserves to be celebrated. 🥳

Thank you, girls, for giving your time and putting so much kindness into supporting our community. We loved having you at the hub! 💛

A boot full of groceries and everyday essentials to help support local children and families — and plenty of kindness behind it. 🛒💛

Look who we spotted in the paper! 🧡

Cameron, one of our wonderful Puddle Jumpers volunteer leaders, has been sharing her story about returning to study while raising her little boy, Eugene.

It’s lovely to see Cameron recognised and to read how Compass Catholic Community is supporting her to work towards her SACE, with Eugene nearby. Having the right support can make such a difference in opening up opportunities for young parents.

💛 Proud finalists — and straight back to camp to celebrate!

While we didn’t take home the win at the South Australian Child Protection & Family Support Awards, we were honoured to be finalists for the Positive Impact Award.

The best part? Taking our finalist certificate straight back to camp and putting it into the hands of the children who are at the heart of our program. 🥰

We’re pretty sure we were back at camp before the event had even finished! There was no waiting to share this recognition with our campers and the incredible volunteers who make it all happen.

It gave us a beautiful opportunity to talk with the kids about how proud we are of our camps, the community we create together, and the volunteers who give so much to help children feel safe, included and valued. This recognition belongs to them too. 💛

Thank you to lutherancaresant, the Department for Child Protection, napcan_australia and all the sponsors for recognising this work. Congratulations to the winners and our fellow finalists — it was an honour to stand alongside you.

Looking for a simple, fun way to help Puddle Jumpers? Pull out your pyjamas and get your school, kindy, childcare centre, workplace or community group involved in PJs for PJs Day! 🧸✨

Following the devastating fire at our Hindmarsh Op Shop, we’re continuing to rebuild—and we would love our community to rally around us this Term 4.

Hosting your own day is easy:
📅 Choose a date that suits your group this term.
💻 Register your PJs for PJs Day.
👕 Wear your favourite pyjamas and bring a gold coin donation—or fundraise together!

Every donation adds up, helping us recover and continue supporting local children and families with food, friendship, camp experiences and a place to belong. 💙

For the very first time, Puddle Jumpers and NACYS are coming together to bring you our new Food Hub! 💛

We’re excited to welcome our community this afternoon, with fruit, vegetables, bakery items and other giveaways available. 🍎🥕🍞

We know making ends meet can be tough, and we’re so pleased to be working together to bring a little extra support to local families.
