🌟 Bulletin 3207 – Meeting Highlights | Tuesday 19 May 2026 🌟

A wonderful night of fellowship at the Rotary Club of Edwardstown as we welcomed members, guests, and friends for a very special meeting.

👏 Induction – John Morrissey
We were delighted to induct John Morrissey as our newest member. Please join us in giving John a warm Edwardstown welcome as he begins his Rotary journey.

🎤 Guest Speaker – Damian DeWit, Craniofacial Australia
Our joint meeting with the Rotary Club of Hyde Park gave us the privilege of hearing from Damian DeWit, ambassador for Craniofacial Australia. Damian shared his powerful personal story of recovery following a life‑changing accident at age 25, and the extraordinary work of Professor David David and the Craniofacial team who rebuilt his skull and transformed his future.
His message was inspiring, heartfelt, and a reminder of the life‑changing impact of compassion and medical innovation.

Please join our Rotary Community Group of clubs for what’s going to be a fabulous night of fun & friendship as we raise funds to collaborate, so we can exhibit Rotary at this year’s Royal Adelaide Show.

• Mahnaz Nawrazi shared her incredible reflections from the One & All voyage — a journey of courage, friendship, and newfound confidence.
• Amy Djité from the Community Living Project opened our eyes to the power of microenterprise and the life‑changing opportunities it creates for people with disabilities.

🎤 Guest Speaker – Marie Erswell, Families4Families
Marie shared a powerful and insightful presentation about supporting South Australians living with acquired brain injury. Her passion and advocacy left a strong impression on all who attended.

Beautiful morning for today’s Dawn Service. There was an excellent crowd in attendance for this very solemn occasion, when we give thanks for those who have served in the fields of war.
RC Edwardstown was honoured to be asked to cook breakfast.
Great job with the eggs & bacon John C, Rob, Linda, Greg & Libby.
