The South Australian German Association (German Club) was established in 1886, with an aim to promote, encourage and foster German language, culture, habits and social life in Australia. As a community organisation we aim to be part of the everyday life of our members, to offer assistance, information or simply a place to enjoy a bit of "German Gemütlichkeit". The Clubhouse is used by our Special

Interest Groups and may be open to the public for events however is not open for regular lunch or dinner.

From Germany to the Adelaide Hills – The Jurlique Story

Join this special experience at the beautiful Jurlique Farm in the Adelaide Hills, hosted by Jurlique´s Tourism and Farm Manager, Cherie Hutchinson. Hurry - maximum of 30 guests only!

Founded by German-born Ulrike and Dr Jürgen Klein, Jurlique has grown from its Adelaide Hills beginnings into an internationally recognised skincare brand.

Explore the farm and learn about Jurlique’s biodynamic farming principles, botanicals and the journey from farm to skincare.

Hand-picking experience

Guests will have the opportunity to hand-pick selected botanicals and experience the farm first-hand.

The Story of Jurlique

A special guest speaker, to be confirmed, will share insights into Jurlique’s German founders, their vision and the story behind the brand.

Tea and Cake

Enjoy Jurlique herbal tea and German cake while relaxing and connecting with fellow guests.

Time will also be available to visit the Jurlique retail boutique.

It was wonderful food, company and entertainment at the Haus der Donauschwaben, Woodville, today! Thank you for hosting us, and to our German Club dancing group and bell ringers for their stunning performance.

📍💃🏻🕺🏻 If you are interested in trying German dancing or alpine bell ringing, our next rehearsal is on Thursday 20th August, at our club rooms at 41 Airport Rd, Brooklyn Park, from 6:30-8:00pm. ALL WELCOME. No prior experience necessary.
