The last few years have reminded us, more than once, that the rights and freedoms we celebrate this month are never something to take for granted. But they’ve also reminded us of something else: when this community comes together, really comes together, there is nothing we can’t face.

That’s what Pride is about. Not just the parties (though we love a party, and the Gala this Saturday is going to be one for the books.). It’s about showing up for each other. It’s about the teenager who sees our March and feels, maybe for the first time, like they belong. It’s about the person who marched for the first time fifty years ago and is still here, still loud, still proud. It’s about every ally who chose to stand beside us when it would have been easier not to.

This June, come celebrate with us. Bring your friends, your family, your whole loud, beautiful self.

We are stronger together. We always have been.

🏆 THE 2026 SA PRIDE AWARD FINALISTS ARE HERE.

The biggest community turnout this awards has ever seen. And honestly? It shows.

These are the people who quietly hold things together and loudly fight for change. The volunteers who give up their weekends. The performers who pour their whole hearts onto the stage. The organisations building something better for every single person in this community.

Across ten categories, this year’s finalists represent the full, glorious, unstoppable force of LGBTQIASB+ South Australia. Big moments and quiet achievers. Legends in the making and icons already carved into this community’s history.

The winners will be revealed at the South Australian Pride Gala on Saturday 6 June at SkyCity Adelaide Ballroom and we cannot wait.
Only a handful of tickets remain so if you want to be in the room when history is made, now is the time.
