Wow!!! Our Charlie in London heading down the streets for the London marathon with our dear friend Nat caped up and advocating for neuroblastoma but also adding some other cancer kids to her cape and cards. What a magical moment šŸ’žšŸ’žšŸ’ž

Nat sent me this video along with ā€œYour Charlie in the streets of London šŸ’•ā€

————————

London Marathon run the Natalie Way
🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
It was my slowest but the most fun you could have with your sneakers on
The crowd was phenomenal
I ran the first half but was totally overwhelmed at the tower bridge which was halfway
I really wanted to enjoy it and when I slowed down the crowd could read the children’s names
ā€œGo Kiraā€
ā€œgo Jazmynā€

I got to enjoy an ice cream for Bryson

a beer for Jai

Carry Kira across the tower bridge

And cross the finish line with Natalie

dance to the drag queen show in streets lined with rainbows- Jaz would have loved it 🌈

… and give out thousands of Hi5s

My cape flew for the whole 42km and I held the children’s photos up high

šŸŽØDid you know the artwork on our walls is for sale?

The beautiful prints you see displayed around Redefine Fitness have been generously donated by Farquar Art and are now available as Buy It Now pieces.

We’ve chosen to make all artworks available this way so more people can take part.

While the prints are valued well above their listed price, 100% of proceeds go directly to Charlie's Rainbow, supporting vital Paediatric Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) research right here in South Australia at Adelaide University's Acute Leukaemia Laboratory, led by Professor Richard D’Andrea.

This isn’t about the value of the artwork, it’s about the impact every dollar can make.

Every purchase helps move research forward, bringing us closer to better treatments and brighter outcomes for children battling AML.

Our son Charlie was just 17 months old when he was diagnosed with AML and, heartbreakingly, passed away at the age of three. In his memory, Charlie’s Rainbow was established, partnering with the University to fund critical paediatric cancer research and create hope for other families facing this journey.

By purchasing a piece, you’re not just taking home art, you’re helping fund research, support families, and honour Charlie’s legacyšŸ’ž

Thank you for your generosity and support.

Wishing my incredible friend Nat all the very best as she takes on the London Marathon šŸ’ŖšŸ½šŸƒā€ā™€ļøā€Ø
Running for Neuroblastoma kids, and also for our beautiful Charlie šŸ¤

When Nat arrived at the airport and saw this on her seat, a rainbow 🌈 there was no mistaking it.

A little sign from Charlie, letting her know he’s right there with her.

Charlie will be on Nat’s cape in London, she’ll be wearing her Charlie’s Rainbow wristband, and carrying his photo every step of the way, along with all those other names and photo’s. What a woman!!!

So much love, strength and meaning behind every kilometre.

Run strong, Nat, Charlie’s got you šŸŒˆšŸ’•

Well, I think Charlie definitely approves of the incredible effort everyone put into the fundraiser — he even gave me a rainbow on the way home from school drop‑off 🌈

Charlie’s Rainbow has raised an amazing $8,992 so far this year šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰šŸŽ‰

Thank you so, so much. We truly couldn’t have done this without every one of you and our incredible supporters.

Just a reminder that the Chuffed page stays open all year round, so if you wanted to donate but weren’t able to during the fundraiser, there’s no cut‑off date.

Keep that movement going šŸ’ŖšŸ¼

🌈 Day 30 — Move for Change Fundraiser

For the past 30 days, our community has been moving their bodies every single day to help change the story for children fighting leukaemia. Every step, workout and challenge supports the incredible research team at The University of Adelaide.

I wanted to share something really special. Bhumika, along with a few members of the research team, joined the Move for Change challenge with us. I feel so grateful to have built this connection over the years and to have them moving alongside us.

In this video, Bhumika shares the important work the team is doing. It’s a privilege to know exactly where our fundraising goes and to be able to share the parent perspective, the real‑life challenges, symptoms and side effects our children experience. These insights truly help guide their research.

Together, we’ve raised $7,600 so far!
ļæ½Thank you to everyone who has supported, donated, moved, and believed in this cause.
ļæ½Every single bit makes a difference.

🌈How incredible! The Move for Change challenge has just hit $6,000 raisedšŸŽ‰

We’re so proud that team has raised $2,281 towards that total.

A huge congratulations to our research team members who joined the challenge, and to all of our participants who have worked together to reach this amazing result and there are still 4 days to go!

A big thank you to everyone who joined, donated, or supported along the way. Your efforts truly make a difference šŸ’ž

🌈 ONE WEEK IN… AND LOOK WHAT WE’VE DONE TOGETHER 🌈

In just our first week of Move for Change, we’ve already raised $4,000 for childhood AML research šŸ’›

This fundraiser began with our friends and supporters, many of whom have shown up year after year for Charlie’s Rainbow.

As it’s grown, that same purpose has been shared wider with Redefine Fitness staff and members joining in, alongside external supporters and even our research team, all moving together to change outcomes for kids with AML.

The way everyone is showing up has been incrediblešŸ™

Our Redefine staff are supporting our fundraisers daily with motivation, nutrition tips, stretches and encouragement in our WhatsApp chat - keeping the energy high and the community connected šŸ’Ŗ

And the movement already happening is amazing šŸ‘ā€ØāœØ Walks, steps on train trips, hours of line dancingā€ØāœØ Extra cardio before classes, lawns mowed in the sunshineā€ØāœØ Daily dance routinesā€ØāœØ 82 sit‑ups for Charlie — one for every blood transfusion he had ā¤ļø

This is what Move for Change is all about — moving our bodies in ways that feel right for us, while funding research for kinder treatments and better survival for kids with AML.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, moved, shared or supported so far.

If you’ve been thinking about donating — now is a beautiful time 🌈

🌈 Charlie’s Rainbow – Move for Change Fundraiser🌈

Today we officially begin our Move for Change fundraiser, and I just want to start by saying thank youšŸ’žā€Ø
Thank you to everyone who has already signed up, shared the fundraiser, donated, or simply taken a moment to read why this matters. Every single person involved makes a difference.

šŸ‘‰šŸ»And if you’re seeing this and thinking ā€œI’ve missed the startā€ you haven’t!

It’s absolutely not too late to sign up and take part. You can join at any point and move in a way that works for you.

Each year we Move for Change because no family should have to face childhood cancer and because research is what gives hope when everything else feels out of control.

To help explain why this fundraiser exists, feel free to watch the video at the top of our Chuffed page. There I talk about Charlie, why I started Charlie’s Rainbow, and why this cause is so close to my heart.

You’ll also hear from Professor Richard D’Andrea, who explains the critical role research plays in improving treatments and outcomes for children and families.

You are very welcome to share our chuffed page (link in bio) with friends, family, or colleagues and get them to watch the video too. It’s one of the most powerful ways to help others understand why this cause matters.

As part of the challenge, participants are setting their own personal movement goals, something achievable, meaningful, and suited to their own lives. Big or small, it all counts.

For me, I’ll be doing 82 sit‑ups every day, that’s one for every blood transfusion Charlie had during his 18 months of treatment 🩸

Thank you again for being here. Thank you for caring.
And thank you for choosing to move with purposešŸ’›

Together, we really can make change.
Charlie’s Mumma, Kel 🌈

🌈 Charlie’s Rainbow ā€œMove for Changeā€ Challenge 🌈

Hi our wonderful supporter,

This March, I’m inviting you to move with purpose.

The Charlie’s Rainbow Move for Change Challenge is about choosing to move every day — not because it’s easy, but because children battling Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) don’t get a choice.

This challenge was born during Charlie’s treatment — moving in hospital corridors, small rooms and quiet moments between procedures. Movement became a way to cope, to breathe, and to keep going when everything felt out of control.

You can take part from anywhere:
• at home
• outdoors
• in the gym
• in the hospital
• on your own, with friends or family.

Every step, rep or stretch is a way of standing beside families living this reality.

🌈 How to join
To join the challenge as a fundraiser, head to the link in our bio and sign up as a fundraiser.

šŸ‘‰ Please make sure you select the team ā€œCharlie’s Rainbow - Move for Changeā€ when signing up.

Entry is a $30 minimum donation, and you’ll receive:
• access to our private Charlie’s Rainbow WhatsApp group
• daily movement ideas and gentle motivation
• stories, connection and real-time community support

🌈 Want extra support?
Redefine Fitness Blackwood will be the community hub for the challenge.
Grab a Community Pass ($200 paid in centre) giving you:
• access to selected classes and gym equipment through March and April
• a welcoming, women-only environment
• in-gym accountability and atmosphere.

Redefine Fitness will donate 50% of this fee directly to Charlie’s Rainbow.

šŸ’› Want to support without participating?
If March isn’t the right time for you to take part in the challenge, you can still make a powerful impact by donating via the same link above. Every contribution big or small helps fund research and gives hope to families walking this road.

🌈 Where the funds go
All funds raised support paediatric AML research at Adelaide University’s Centre for Cancer Biology, led by Prof. Richard D’Andrea — helping drive breakthroughs in treatment and care.

Thank you for moving with us, in whatever way you can.

Much love,
Charlie’s Mumma - Kel

Hi our wonderful supporter,

šŸ‘‰ As a thank you, anyone who opts into the Community Pass will receive APRIL FREE — offered as continued accountability and support beyond March.

šŸ’› Why sponsors matter
This challenge isn’t about how fit you are — it’s about what your movement represents.
By asking sponsors to donate to your daily effort, you are:
• raising vital funds for paediatric AML research
• spreading awareness
• honouring the children and families who don’t get to opt out of this fight.
