THE TIME HAS COME TO MAKE SOME NOISE đź“Ł

We want to hear what you really think about the future of our industry.

Why are salons closing?
Why does it feel harder to find and keep great people?
Where are apprenticeships heading?
Are fewer young people choosing hair and beauty — or is the industry simply changing?
And most importantly… what needs to change?

This is an open conversation and nothing is off limits. Members, non-members, salon owners, employees, apprentices, educators and anyone who cares about our industry — your voice is welcome here.

Maybe you have an idea. Maybe you’ve noticed something others haven’t. Maybe there’s something we’ve all been thinking but nobody has said out loud yet.

It is with sadness that we acknowledge the passing of SAHBA’s  Past President, Rose Bradshaw.

Rose was a passionate leader, mentor, and friend whose kindness and dedication made a lasting impact on the hair and beauty industry. Through her work with SAHBA, she helped build a stronger and more connected community, and her legacy will continue through the many lives she touched.

On behalf of the SAHBA, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Rose’s family, friends, and colleagues.
